JOB DESCRIPTION
A unique and exciting opportunity to join our Fitting / assemble team constructing and installing principally tipping bodies and other related road transport products. Ideally, you come from a background with experience in Electrical/hydraulic/fitting components on vehicles.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Production Manager you will be overlooking a team of 5 – 6 team members installing a variety of components on tipping bodies.
COMPETENCIES
- Working independently and on own initiative to guide, train and mentor other operators in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Experience and expertise in installing subframes and associated components, tow bars side guards, etc on vehicles
- Experience and expertise in installing tipping gears and hydraulic tipping systems, as Expertise in various electronic systems including beacon bars, strobes, and reverse alarms
- Maintain Consumable stock levels for your workshop Unloading deliveries and storing in the correct locations
- Carry out any other reasonable projects, tasks, or duties to support the business as directed by management
- To assist Management in ensuring that all tools/equipment issued are accounted for and traceable to prevent financial loss to the Company and also to report any instances of theft/loss.

- Team Management: 2 years (Required)
- Hydraulic systems: 2 years (Required)
- Electronic control systems: 2 years (Required)
- Installation and fitting experience: 2 years (Required)
